Ludacris at FAU

Every year, Florida Atlantic University puts on a concert called Freaker's Ball. This event is a huge success every year ranging from acts such as Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Pitbull, and many more.

This year, I am so excited to announce that Ludacris will be head-lining.

The show is Nov. 10, 2010 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are only $10 in advance for FAU students and $25 at the door.

For non FAU students, tickets are $20 in advance and $35 at the door. 

This concert is bound to go down in FAU history. The show will be sold-out, so buy your tickets in advance.

Open Autopsy at Boomers

Death metal band Open Autopsy will have a free show tomorrow Oct. 15, 2010 at Boomers in Boca Raton, FLA. This local band from Sunrise, FLA consists of five passionate band members.

Currently, Open Autopsy is at the start of their South FLA tour. They will have shows all over West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and many more locations to come within the months of Oct. - Dec.

This new band is hoping to make a splash with their music, and get their name on the streets. Since they are a new band, friend them on Myspace to learn more about them as well as attend their show. There is no video footage currently, but hopefully with a successful tour in front of them, live footage will be up shortly.

Beatles Tribute Band Tomorrow in City Place

Across The Universe is a Beatles Tribute Band that has only been together for a few years now. The four man band grew up listening to the melodies of The Beatles, and frankly I believe they sound just like them.

The show is tomorrow from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the heart of City Place. This is a free show.

Unlike most Beatles tribute bands, ATU consists of four professional musicians that combine the sound of the original Beatles' recordings with a high energy show to bring you the most authentic Beatles experience.

Think Pink Rocks Tomorrow Night!

Tomorrow night, Boca Raton welcomes back Akon for one of the most talked about shows every year! Mizner Park in Boca Raton holds an annual charity to help support breast cancer awareness.

Tickets are $40 and can be ordered at ThinkPinkRocks.com. The show starts at 7 p.m. The line-up this year is so exciting and bound to make this concert one of the best Mizner Park has ever seen. Headlining is Akon, Flo Rida, Nelly, Pitbull, and 50 Cent. Other special guests include, Ray J, Shontelle, and many more.

RIVERDOWN at Birdcage in Davie

Riverdown, established in 2002 by four men with a passion for rock and roll looks like just another cover band on the outside, but when lead vocalist Jimi Robinette opens his mouth, other jaws in the room drop. 350 songs, six decades of music, un-plugged or electric, and four vocalists later, this cover band rocks their way to stardom every weekend. South Side Dub this Thursday at Guanabanas

One of the most talked about local rock/reggae band South Side Dub will be live this Thursday at Guanabanas. Guanabanas is a very unique place with a unique atmosphere. I've heard the fabulous restaurant be described as "eating inside a Jurassic Park movie". With the amazing melodies of South Side Dub in the background, this show should definitely make you feel one with nature.

Sugarland at Cruzan Amphitheatre
